To Start…

In the wake of the emo revival, two individuals decided to come together to form a community that creates a conversation about the genre and politics surrounding it.

Brian Rowe and Lizzie Baumgartner are experienced music industry professionals whom aim to generate an open forum about music news, up-and-coming artists/bands and discussing the crumbling disarray that the world is in.

Since summer 2018, The Emo Social Club Podcast has interviewed industry heads like Johnny Minardi, non-profits looking to create safe spaces like OurMusic, MyBody and BLMChicago and local band interviews.

Through this new-wave media platform the duo aims to blend the OG emo scene with the flourishing tunes that are still being produced.
